Works with: Adults in Alberta

Services offered: In-person therapy, virtual therapy, walk and talk, Corporate WorkshopS

  • Kelsey is a Registered Provisional Psychologist and Registered Yoga Teacher who believes in the healing powers of holistic therapeutic approaches. To Kelsey, this means offering mental, emotional, spiritual, and embodiment support to her clients. She joins us after completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Kelsey is also a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance.

She comes from a unique background of neurophysiology after working in concussion research and rehabilitation for several years. Through that work, she became a firm believer in honouring the very human ability to live a dynamic and ever changing life. The hurt we experience changes us, but so does healing. Kelsey believes that life can be messy, but there is beauty in embracing the mess just as much as we embrace the magic.

Outside of therapy, Kelsey enjoys hiking, snowboarding, camping, running, reading, and all forms of mindful movement. She lives with her partner and their active mini-aussiedoodle pup, and is a forever-student in the world of yoga.

  • When you're in the room with Kelsey, you get to choose what you need to make therapy your own. That might mean starting with a meditation, playing your favourite music in the background, pouring a cup of tea, journalling, even going for a walk and talk when the weather is nice. If it feels right, you can also choose to roll out a mat to reconnect with your body and the sensations that arise through our work together. Kelsey is a human first, and will hold space for your heavier emotions just as much as she will laugh and celebrate your wins with you. Don't be surprised if her more light-hearted side comes out here and there!

Kelsey creates a therapeutic space for you to bring all versions and parts of yourself into the room - even the ones we tend to avoid or shut away from the world sometimes… especially those ones. She will walk with you as you explore the chapters of your life, and experience the thoughts, feelings, and sensations that arise as you do. And if it feels like too much, she openly welcomes time to move, breathe, feel, and even dance through the experiences. To Kelsey, human connection is at the centre of our healing, and beyond the various practices she offers, she focuses most on building a therapeutic relationship with you rooted in trust and authenticity.

Taking a trauma-informed lens, she incorporates aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based practices, Emotion Focused Therapy, Embodiment, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.

  • Kelsey supports her clients with Anxiety, Stress/Burnout, Trauma, ADHD, Concussion-Related mental health Concerns, Depression, Emotional Dysregulation, Life Transitions, Mind-Body Connection, Mood Disorders, Perfectionism, Self-Esteem, Spirituality, Suicidal Ideation, Wanting More Self-Expression, Women’s Issues.
