You feel misunderstood by most people and sometimes struggle to even understand yourself. You’ve developed inventive ways to navigate life, to feel safe and in control, to not have to depend on others or maybe, to not feel anything at all. You’re struggling to find your voice, speak up, and share your thoughts. Maybe you're unsure if what you have to add is anything of value. You’re worried others consider you “too much”. To cope, you constantly let go of “the small things” but then feel angry, explosive, or rage over what others consider a “non-issue.” Sometimes you feel things so deeply your bones ache or wonder what’s wrong because you don’t feel anything at all.
If you want a deeper understanding of self, to develop a sense of empowerment, or to shift away from always reacting, I’m here to help! Our bodies are incredible. We hold deep wisdom. Together let’s work to discover ways to reconnect, listen to, and honour what is showing up for you.
As part of my practice, I have dedicated much of my career to working with women who have experienced or witnessed domestic violence and survivors of sexual abuse and assault. I work with people who have experienced trauma across the lifespan, with a special interest in childhood trauma, attachment wounds, and struggles with interpersonal relationships.
I help individuals with: complex-trauma, motherhood transitions, substance/process mis-use, domestic violence, and those seeking a deeper mind-body connection.

I am here to provide a safe, caring and non-judgmental space, walking with you on this healing journey. Your life experiences have been difficult, and your past can feel overwhelmingly present, holding you back from being your true authentic self. Think of me as a gentle guide and support as we explore your internal world, expanding curiosity and compassion for the parts of you that have been struggling to just survive day to day. I will be with you as you come into contact with some of those emotions and memories that have felt too big to look at on your own and together we can transform your relationship regarding these aspects of your life.
To strengthen your mind-body connection, our work together will focus on practicing a non-judgmental noticing of any sensations the body brings up during our conversations. Our intentions will not be to change these sensations, but to cultivate curiosity, compassion and understanding of what is coming up. It can be helpful to think of listening to and comforting your body in the same way you would your best friend or a small child.
Together we will traverse through the life experiences that have brought you here, understanding how these have shaped how you show up in the relationship with yourself and the world around you. Throughout the process we will attend to your mind-body connection, the integration of the factual Knowledge you hold, and the profound Knowing you're beginning to experience in your body. From this space you can rediscover an internal sense of safety and trust in your abilities, providing clarity and peace in whatever circumstances life presents.
Therapies I use in my work: Rooted in Attachment Theory, I utilize Trauma-Informed, Somatic Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (Parts Work), Transpersonal, Experientially Influenced Interventions and Mindfulness.

In therapy, I strive to create a safe space where you can bring all of yourself. Our connection will be one of the most healing aspects of our work together. With that in mind, I will provide a non-judgmental, curious, compassionate, kind, and sometimes humorous space for us to connect. During our sessions, we will collaborate to explore the topics that are important to you. I will provide psycho-educational insights and guide us through experiential practices. We will go at a pace that feels right for you while slowing down enough to honor the experiences you choose to share with me. You can expect moments when I will gently challenge you, moments of discomfort, and moments of deep relief. We will hold space for both difficult emotions and celebrations with moments of shared laughter sprinkled throughout.
My journey to becoming a therapist was sparked by my own life experiences of trauma and feeling deeply misunderstood by most of my support systems. I struggled even to understand myself. I am passionate about creating a non-judgmental space for people to gain insight and heal deeply. I know how hard it is to be vulnerable in the presence of another person, and I always feel honoured when someone trusts me to hold that space for them.
Outside the office, I have a wonderful husband and two energetic little people who bring joy and learning opportunities into our lives. I always find time and space for creativity in my life and enjoy constantly engaging in new projects. My creative interests include working with leather, beading, crocheting, sewing, wood whittling, and gardening.

Individuals:
You feel anxious, disconnected, and uncertain. It often feels like you experience things 'too much' and 'too deeply,' which can leave you feeling overwhelmed by your emotions. Maybe you've been told you’re 'too sensitive,' or you’ve internalized the idea that feeling deeply is something to be fixed. Now, you’re ready to learn how to hold space for all your emotions—so you can feel more present, grounded, and engaged in your life. You often find yourself putting others’ needs ahead of your own. Whether it’s in your relationships, at work, or with friends, you’re the one who knows how to show up for everyone else. But when it comes to showing up for yourself, that feels unfamiliar. You wonder what it would be like to let your loved ones truly see you, to have relationships that feel more balanced, where you don’t have to mold yourself to keep the peace.
As a creative person, you love shaping something from nothing, whether that’s through art, ideas, or other forms of self-expression. But sharing this part of yourself can feel intimidating. Maybe in the past, people misunderstood you, and part of you still worries that might happen again.
You’ve been through a lot, and while those experiences gave you survival tools, they may no longer serve you. You’re curious about what it would be like to make choices that are truly yours, instead of constantly managing others’ expectations. You feel compelled to carve your own path based on your perspective, rather than following the one laid out for you.
I help individuals with: anxiety, trauma, relationships, emotional regulation, self-esteem, suicidal ideation, self-harm, gender and sexuality.
Couples:You’ve been through ups and downs together, and now life has thrown you new challenges that you’d like to explore with some supportive guidance. Maybe you’re navigating a big life transition, or you’re growing in ways that have shifted the dynamic of your relationship. You’ve changed individually and together, and while you’ve managed to adapt before, this time, it feels like you need extra support.
You want to communicate better, increase your capacity for genuine understanding, and feel seen. But sometimes, despite your best intentions, conversations lead to frustration, misunderstandings, or emotional distance. You’re motivated to make it work, but it can feel like you’re speaking different languages.
Whether you’re in a conventional or unconventional relationship, you value openness, honesty, and growth. You’re committed to navigating life’s changes together but know there’s more fulfillment to be found in your connection. You’re seeking a space where you can be heard, supported, and understood—where you can explore the complexities of your relationship with someone who recognizes the importance of your individual growth and your growth as a couple.
If you are looking to strengthen your communication, improve your connection, and find more joy in your relationship, I’m here to help guide the way.
I help couples with: communication struggles, values differences, navigating life transitions, establishing healthy boundaries, building intimacy and connection.

Individuals:
I’ll meet you where you are and work with you to find a pace that feels supportive and aligned with your goals. Together, we’ll connect the dots of your past to better understand the 'why,' while also exploring the 'how' of moving forward. In our sessions, you’ll find a welcoming space that blends warmth, humour, and creativity, providing you with the support you need for your unique journey.
I’m here to help you embrace and accept all of your emotions, even the ones that feel overwhelming. We’ll explore your most challenging feelings at a pace that feels supportive to your needs, while I help you discover practical tools to manage the anxiety that often comes with them.
Our work together will also focus on uncovering your personal values and identifying what brings true meaning to your life. My goal is to help you move forward with more clarity, confidence, and intention.
If working through past trauma is part of your journey, we’ll take things at your pace, respecting your readiness and comfort. I’ll help you navigate painful memories while encouraging you to reconnect with the parts of you that may have been lost along the way. Together, we will hold space for grief, joy, and everything in between, as you move toward greater wholeness and self-compassion.
Couples:
I focus on fostering a deeper understanding between partners and guiding you in learning new, more aligned and fulfilling ways to communicate. Whether you're facing challenges with communication, wanting to strengthen your friendship, or looking to enhance your emotional closeness, I’m here to help you reconnect in meaningful and practical ways.
In our work together, I’ll help you uncover patterns in your relationship that may be keeping you stuck, while also introducing practical tools to improve your communication and emotional bond. We’ll explore ways to listen to each other with more empathy, express your needs more clearly, and build trust through small but powerful moments of connection.
Together, we will rediscover what first brought you together and work toward creating new ways to nurture love and respect in the relationship. Our work will focus on helping you feel more understood, supported and emotionally close, and nurture space to allow your relationship to grow stronger and more fulfilling over time.
Therapies I use in my work: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Parts Work, Gottman Method Couples Therapy. -
In the therapy room, I bring a blend of professional warmth and curiosity, creating a space where you can explore what’s on your mind at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You can expect a mix of metaphors, practical tools, sensory comforts, and a shared guiding of the conversation between us. My goal is for therapy to be a place where you can bring your whole self. I don’t believe therapy is “one size fits all,” so I work creatively and adaptively, drawing from different approaches to find what works best for you. Therapy, to me, is a collaborative process where we connect the dots together. My approach is gentle, and I like to weave in humour when it feels right. I don’t see myself as the expert with all the answers – I’m here to reflect what I see and help you find your own insights. Whether you’re navigating your individual path or working to strengthen your relationship, I’ll meet you where you are, welcoming every part of your story with care.
I chose to become a psychologist because I love connecting with people on a deeper level, especially when it comes to exploring the more difficult aspects of life. I’ve always been drawn to conversations that aren’t easy, and helping people work through their emotions is something I find deeply meaningful. As I progressed in my education and training, I became especially interested in working with anxiety, trauma, and relationships. Part of that interest came from my own experiences of navigating relationships, life transitions, and big emotions.
Creativity is a big part of who I am, and it shows up in how I express myself, including my style. I encourage you to bring your own creativity and quirks into our sessions too. Music is another passion of mine – I love playing instruments, curating playlists for different moods, and going to live shows. Outside of therapy, I enjoy cozy, narrative-driven video games, reading philosophy and poetry, rock climbing with my partner, and spending time with my beloved cat, Stevie Nicks.

It’s hard when you wake up already feeling weighed down by doubts about your worth or capabilities. Whether it’s trying to meet others’ expectations or feeling like you’re not enough, these thoughts can stay with you all day. It makes sense to feel this way when you’re constantly wondering if you measure up.
Anxiety can make it even harder. Speaking up in class or at work, sharing your ideas, or even just taking up space might feel overwhelming. You might question yourself in friendships, relationships, or parenting, wondering if you’re doing the right thing. Even everyday decisions can feel harder than they should.
Constant self-criticism and anxiety can leave you feeling drained, like you’re walking on eggshells—always wondering how others see you. When your emotions feel big or hard to manage, it’s easy to get stuck in self-doubt and worry.
You deserve to feel more confident and at ease with yourself. Together, we can help you manage overwhelming emotions, strengthen your sense of self, and feel more grounded in your relationships and decisions.
I help individuals with: Anxiety, confidence, social & relationship challenges, emotional regulation, and parenting challenges.
I help adolescents with: Anxiety, depression, confidence issues, self-esteem, self-harm, social & relationship challenges, boundary setting, emotional regulation, and trauma.
-
Individual & Adolescents:
I’m here to empower you to reconnect with your emotions and take charge of breaking free from patterns that no longer serve you. Through a relational and holistic approach, I’ll guide you in understanding how past experiences shape your emotional responses and relationship dynamics, helping you gain greater clarity and control over your life.
In our work together, you’ll have a safe and compassionate space for self-exploration and healing. I can help you connect with your body and understand how emotions show up physically, so you can learn to manage stress, anxiety, and overwhelm in a healthier way. You’ll be free to explore without fear of judgment, as we foster a trusting relationship that supports your growth and empowers you to make choices aligned with your true self. I want you to feel strong in your voice, trust your instincts, and navigate your relationships with clarity and self-respect. Together, we'll work on building your self-esteem, managing tough emotions, and developing the skills you need to handle challenges and thrive in all areas of your life.
Together, we’ll strengthen your emotional resilience, self-awareness, and ability to cultivate healthier, more fulfilling relationships with both yourself and others.
Parents:
I support parents of children who are struggling with anxiety, self-confidence issues, self-harming behaviors, or are emotionally shutdown.
My focus is on helping parents re-establish a strong emotional connection with their child, strengthen communication, create a safe and supportive environment for their child to express their feelings, and learn co-regulation techniques to help their children manage their distress together.
Therapies I use in my work: Psychodynamic Therapy, EMDR, Polyvagal-Informed Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Attachment-Based Therapy
-
My journey to becoming a therapist began with the birth of my first daughter, which sparked a deep desire to become the best parent I could be. Two more children and one graduate degree later, I’m grateful to be in a position to support others on their own paths to personal growth and wellness.
Raising kids has given me a valuable insight into the challenges and experiences that come with growing up today—especially the pressure, expectations, and frequent changes teens are navigating. I bring this understanding into my work with teens, creating a space where they feel heard, supported, and equipped to handle everything life throws their way -- from school stress to friendships, self-doubt, and beyond.
Navigating a series of significant personal transitions has deepened my focus on women’s mental health. These experiences have greatly influenced the way I approach both personal and professional challenges, allowing me to provide understanding and support to clients navigate their own complex situations. My greater goal is to empower women to embrace their authentic selves, learn to use their unique voices with confidence, and create the meangingful, lasting changes they desire in their lives.
Outside of work, I love travelling and spending time outdoors with my kids. Our favourite activities include camping, biking, and skiing. Most weekends, you can catch me cheering them on at one of their many sports events!

You’re the person everyone turns to – the one who always has it together, balancing work, relationships, and life’s challenges. But now, something feels different. Things are shifting, and you're trying to figure out what you need—without adding more stress or hurting anyone in the process. Maybe you’re going through a big change in your romantic relationship and it feels like your needs have taken a back seat. Maybe a key friendship has shifted, or you’re feeling unfulfilled at work and exhausted by the never-ending demands.
You believe your hard work should solve most of your problems, yet it’s hard to know where to start. You’re ready to explore what you truly want and need, and learn how to compromise in a way that doesn’t leave you feeling resentful. You want to feel confident and comfortable with your choices. Therapy can help you stand up for yourself, set boundaries, and navigate transitions with grace—without sacrificing your peace of mind or everything you’ve worked so hard for.
I help individuals with: anxiety, work and career related stress, burnout, entrepreneurship, imposter syndrome, confidence, changing relationships, grief and trauma, and limiting beliefs
-
I am here to help you get clear on what truly matters to you, who you want to become, and why. By exploring the important aspects of your life we can uncover what’s missing and where to focus your time and energy. While gaining insights into your past and patterns is essential, I believe real change happens when we pair those insights with actionable steps forward. I will help you prioritize and create a sense of direction, especially during life’s transitions.
My approach focuses on giving you practical tools for everyday life, such as skills to help you manage intense emotions, set boundaries, and deal with stress in a healthy way. I will help you handle the discomfort that often comes with change. Instead of avoiding difficult emotions, we’ll work on accepting them, while making sure your actions align with what matters to you. My goal is to help you stay grounded and present with your feelings without being overwhelmed by them, helping you make choices that prioritize your own needs and values. I’ll be right there with you as you learn to trust yourself again and feel empowered to create the life you’ve been working so hard for.
Therapies I use in my work: Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

In therapy, I bring a warm, approachable presence that invites genuine connection. I’m naturally curious about people and their stories, (and have been asking questions since the moment I could talk!). I’ll be direct and compassionate about what you can and cannot control, and help you find a path of action you feel good about.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade working in government and non-profits, focusing on entrepreneurship and economic development. I reached a point where I knew a career change was required; I either had to commit to the path I was on or take a leap and try something entirely different but more fulfilling. At the same time, I was seeing loved ones struggle with their mental health, inspiring me to pursue my passion for helping others through life's challenges. Since making that shift, I feel truly grateful to witness and accompany clients on their journeys of change and growth.
I’m also a proud dog mom to my little King Cavalier pup. As a true food enthusiast, I’m trying a new recipe every Sunday night and checking out a new restaurant or cocktail bar at least once a month. When I’m not in session, you can find me lost in a great sci-fi or fantasy book, getting my butt kicked in a strength class, hiking, or watching football every week (c'mon fantasy league!) with my partner and friends.

You've always felt like your emotions are too much, whether they're too intense, too overwhelming, or just too hard to trust. To everyone else, you might come across as self-aware, chill, and hilarious, but inside, you sense a disconnect from your full self. Maybe you’ve used humor to downplay painful or traumatic moments, adopting a “it builds character” attitude. But deep down, you know those experiences still affect your life, creating a gap between a healthy relationship with yourself and how you relate to others. As this disconnect becomes harder to ignore, the idea of truly feeling and processing everything can feel overwhelming, especially after all the effort you’ve put into keeping things under control for so long.
You might find it hard to feel at home in your own body, feeling like it’s a place that doesn’t quite belong to you. Trauma, especially sexual or relational, can make your body feel unsafe or uncomfortable, and everyday pressures around body image and food only add to the challenge. Connecting with and respecting your body is tough when it’s been a source of pain or shame. To cope, you might emotionally disconnect from your body, a strategy that’s served you in the past but now feels like it’s keeping you from building a loving, connected relationship with the space that is fundamentally yours. You know the importance of loving your body and believe this for others but finding that same comfort and connection within yourself feels impossible.
If you're an ADHD girlie, your emotions might feel BIG—like you’re an exposed nerve where everything hits harder and feels way too close to the surface. You might believe that if you’re not hard on yourself, you’ll never get anything done. But even with all that pressure, it still stings when you misplace something, mess up, or run late. It’s not the executive functioning stuff that’s bringing you here—you’re used to that. It’s those painful things you say to yourself when things don’t go right. Maybe the question, “Why can’t I just get this right?” feels all too familiar, leaving you feeling off balance and wishing you could be as kind to yourself as you are to everyone else.
You’re tired of feeling both "too much" and "not enough." You’re ready to reconnect with yourself, embrace your sensitivity, and find your way back to who you truly are.
I help individuals with: anxiety, relational and sexual trauma, adhd, relationship with your body and mind-body connection, emotional regulation, holistic well-being support including healthy relationships, embracing your authentic self and expressing it fully, spirituality, and stress management.
-
I’m here to help you explore and heal the experiences and traumas you've been carrying in a gentle, supportive way. We’ll work to build trust in yourself and embrace those big emotions, honouring them as something you can really connect with and understand. I take a trauma-informed approach, where you can go at your own pace and decide what feels best for you during our time together. I’m here as your anchor and your personal hype girl every step of the way, so you’re not alone!
Our work together will focus on deepening your connection to yourself, building that mind-body awareness to understand what your body is trying to tell you. You’ll get comfy with how emotions show up for you, allowing them to exist without judgment while finding ways to feel more grounded and mindful. I take a body-neutral, Health at Every Size approach, which centres our work on respecting and understanding your body sensations without any pressure to change it. I’ll be right there with you as you embrace your body as your wisest bestie, listening to its wisdom with curiosity and compassion. We’ll explore the patterns that shape your relationship with yourself and others— like how you see yourself, how you connect with those around you, and the ways ADHD and hormonal changes influence your daily life. I'm here to help you gently let go of what doesn't fit anymore and turn towards a way of living that feels genuinely good. We’ll work to rebuild your self-trust and process past experiences, moving toward a life filled with all the joy, connection, and a sense of wholeness— because you deserve a life that feels like home, wherever YOU are.
Therapies I use in my work: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Hakomi Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Self-Compassion

I’m here to meet you exactly where you are and help you navigate all the sweet and messy parts of life. I’m all about a chill, down-to-earth approach because I feel the best therapy happens when we can be real with each other, not the polished versions we feel we have to be. I get that jumping into therapy and opening up can feel tough, so we’ll always go at your pace. When we’re working together, I want you to feel like you can just be you and feel totally relaxed. So, we can put on some music, enjoy a cup of tea, or make use of all the goodies we have in the office (think crafts, blankets, and essential oils!!!) to create your own cozy vibe during our sessions.
My journey to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own experiences with trauma and the dream to be the kind of support I wish I had when I was younger (and, let’s be real, even now). It’s so important to me that I create a space where you feel truly understood by someone who really gets it. I want you to feel like you’re seen for who you are right now, cared for in the moment, and supported as you grow into the version of yourself that feels right for you.
When I’m not in sessions, I’m probably working on the crossword (I did the NYTimes crossword every day for a year), reading, or birdwatching if the weather’s nice! I also looove hosting themed dinners with the girlies—it's the perfect time for me to bake alllll the sweet treats! And of course, I can't forget my shadow, Hazelnut, who is the sweetest rescue pup and my best girl.

You feel like something’s off; like life is throwing you more than you can handle even and you know your current ways of functioning aren’t working anymore. It’s understandable—you’re managing a lot! Whether it’s navigating big life transitions—like school, career shifts, or changes in relationships—or feeling weighed down by anxiety, it’s easy to feel stuck and unsure of where to turn. You’re over the quick-fix coping skills that don’t seem to cut it, because you know the complexities of your life run deeper than some worksheet.
It feels like you’re tried every self-help trend, book, and podcast, but none of it has felt quite right. This constant search outside yourself might even be adding to the disconnect, especially when every other social media post tells you to ignore your darkness and “manifest” your way out of the heaviness that's begging to have a voice. You have all these emotions buried inside you that you simply don’t know what to do with anymore and you’re curious about understanding why your brain operates the way it does. You’re also interested in more unconventional forms of therapy—like moving your body through yoga, connecting with music, or incorporating breathwork—to help process what’s inside.
Hear me out: maybe the distractions, sleepless nights, and unexplainable aches and pains are your body’s way of speaking to you. Maybe it’s time to start processing what’s buried underneath, to face tough emotions head-on, and find a way for your inner light to shine again. You’ve been operating in survival mode and probably have been for some time. But you know deep down that enough is enough and you’re ready to make some changes. Of course, opening up and exploring what's inside can feel terrifying, but even with the fear and hesitation, there’s still a part of you that’s ready to move forward. So… if you think we may be a good fit, I’m here to connect with you and walk alongside you as we explore your inner world. When you’re ready, let’s take that first step together and start healing your relationship with your mind, body, and soul.
I help individuals with: anxiety, mind-body connection, relational trauma, overall wellness & well-being support, stress, ADHD, concussion-related mental health concerns, spirituality, and self-expression.
-
My approach is about helping you untangle the web of feelings, experiences, and relational traumas that have shaped your life. I aim to create a cozy, inviting, plant-filled space where real, human connection can thrive, which may feel a little unconventional at times. I integrate evidence-based healing practices grounded in neuroscience with approaches inspired by Eastern and Indigenous wisdom—using mindfulness, embodiment, yoga, music, and other somatic methods to help you tap into your inner wisdom and befriend the parts of yourself you’ve kept hidden from the world. With a background in neurophysiology, I also tend to offer validating and relevant psychoeducation about your brain’s processes when it feels right.
I understand that life is full of dualities, and the more we hold space for the heaviness within, the more freedom, contentment, and peace we can find. I believe every person who walks through my door carries a sacred story—one filled with meaning, wonder, and often, a lot of pain.
My holistic approach holds space for the mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual aspects of your life, which looks different for everyone. I believe you already have an intuitive wisdom within, but it can be hard to access when we’re stuck in overwhelm. With heart-led support, I’m here to walk alongside you as you slow down, listen inward, and explore the knowledge that already lives within you.
Therapies I use in my work: Trauma-Informed, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Neurophysiology/Biofeedback, Somatic & Embodiment Therapies, and Hakomi Therapy
*note, I do not currently offer biofeedback services, but will be incorporating it into my practice by 2025.

When you're in the room with me, you get to shape therapy in a way that works for you. Whether that means starting with a meditation, playing your favourite music, having an impromptu dance party, sipping tea, journaling, or even going for a Walk and Talk by the river when the weather is nice—it's all part of the process. If it feels right, you can roll out a yoga mat to reconnect with your body using the props, essential oils, and goodies we have on hand. I show up as a human first, holding space for heavy emotions while also laughing and celebrating your wins. Don't be surprised if my sarcastic side makes an appearance!
My journey to becoming a therapist was fueled by my passion for the sciences, human relationships, and my own mental health experiences. I initially pursued biochemistry at university but quickly realized it wasn't for me, which led me to change my path to a neuroscience focused psychology program and I never looked back. While navigating my own mental health struggles, including panic attacks and chronic illness, I discovered the healing power of body-based approaches and experienced them for myself, which deepened my interest in alternative therapies. This path eventually led me to work on concussion research and rehabilitation using biofeedback and neurophysiology, where I learned from industry leaders, presented at conferences, and conducted workshops for organizations in various industries. I eventually pursued yoga teacher training and felt called to bridge these two worldviews in my therapy practice.
Outside of therapy, I love hiking, being in nature, snowboarding, music, fitness, and all forms of mindful movement. I live with my partner and our cuddly mini-aussiedoodle, Bailey, who never fails to make us smile. I enjoy girlie craft nights and impromptu dance parties just as much as I enjoy reading on the couch with tea, soft music, and a candle burning beside me. My kryptonite is buying cute mugs that I don’t have the space for, so you’ll probably see some of my collection that now lives in the Risewell Office :)

You want to trust yourself more deeply and experience more freedom and joy in your life. Maybe you’ve felt disconnected from your creativity, or that your passion for things you used to enjoy is gone. If you’ve been to therapy before, you may have found that cognitive approaches alone left you searching for deeper levels of healing.
You can be hard on yourself at times, perhaps frustrated that events from your past still affect you. Maybe you keep yourself busy or rely on substances (or your phone!) to avoid feeling your emotions, all while desiring to experience the ease and joy that exists beyond just coping. You may fear the judgment of others, and try to act in ways to keep the peace, which leaves you feeling as though you’ve abandoned your own needs in the process.
Life feels full of questions—about meaning, purpose, and how to exist in a world with so much pain. You might feel a growing tension between the beliefs you were raised with and the new perspectives you’ve been exposed to. If you're a parent, perhaps you’re determined to raise your children differently than you were, but sometimes feel lost in how to break the cycles from your past.
You want to be more present in your life, but quieting your mind can feel impossible. You often feel frustrated with your emotions and reactions, finding yourself trying to control the people and situations around you in an effort to feel safe. Underneath all of this, there’s a part of you that longs for a space to get curious—where you can explore who you truly are, beyond all the expectations and “shoulds” you’ve internalized. I’m here to offer that space—a space where you can gently explore who you are beneath the weight of expectations and 'shoulds,' and begin to reconnect with your true self.I help individuals with: anxiety, substance use recovery, adjusting to motherhood, intergenerational trauma, relationship issues, healthcare burnout, compassion fatigue, spiritual exploration, body image, and those seeking a greater understanding of themselves.

My goal is to help you discover your body as your greatest teacher—a place where physical sensations and emotions become doorways to understanding who you are from a different perspective. Along the way, we’ll encounter past versions of yourself that we can offer compassion and healing, so that you can live from a place of wholeness and self-worth.
Using traditional therapy tools, I will help you gain insight into your thought patterns and understand more about how your past has shaped your present and I will provide you with practical tools and resources that you can use outside of your sessions. I also integrate non-traditional approaches inspired by Eastern and Indigenous healing practices, such as breathwork, movement, meditation, and support with integrating psychedelic experiences.
My approach weaves together embodiment, spirituality, and parts work to empower you to access your own inner wisdom. In this nurturing space, my hope is that you cultivate a loving and gentle relationship with all parts of yourself and remember who you came here to be.Therapies I use in my work: Internal Family Systems, Embodied Awareness + Spiritually Directed Therapy, Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy and Hakomi Integrative Bodywork and Psychotherapy.

In therapy, I have a casual approach, which is always guided by your comfort and what you are wanting to get from your counselling experience. During your sessions, you can lie down, stretch, laugh, dance, cry, scream (we have pillows!)—whatever you need to express and make the time and space your own. It is the greatest honour to be alongside you in your exploration of yourself—both in the depths of your pain and in celebrating your successes. Because I know and embrace the darkness and light within me, I’m not afraid to be with you in yours. I am so grateful to witness the resilience and beauty of humans every day in this work.
My personal journey through intense anxiety and panic attacks has led me to live a life without alcohol, and I've spent years helping others explore their relationship with substances and compulsive behaviours. My background with addiction has played a key role in how I approach therapy—so often, as humans, we judge or resist our emotions or what’s happening to us, but finding a way to accept our emotions and circumstances often leads to the freedom and change we desire.
I’ve lived in Calgary for most of my life, but I’m also half-Bermudian and ultimately an island girl at heart (and will probably always struggle with Alberta winters!). I’m married to an incredible man, and we are growing alongside each other as we raise our two boys—who were born on the same day, two years apart! When I’m not in a therapy session, you’ll find me practicing and teaching embodied movement classes, at the Lagree studio loving (and hating) the burn, or cheering on my boys as I embrace my new role as a hockey mom. My perfect day ends either lounging on a beach somewhere or with a kitchen dance party followed by a marathon of British soap operas.

You’re a high-achieving, self-aware woman, balancing work, family, and all the responsibilities that come with being someone who others often depend on. You probably excel at what you do—whether you're running a business, managing a team, or holding down a leadership role—but behind the scenes, there’s a persistent feeling of being overwhelmed, burned out, or simply disconnected from yourself. You push through because you have high expectations of yourself, but deep down, you know there’s something missing. You’ve learned a lot about things like self-care, mindfulness or even boundaries, but despite your best efforts, something still feels stuck.
You might notice that you’re great at taking care of others, whether it’s in your role as a mom, partner, friend, or leader, but when it comes to connecting with your own needs, it’s harder to even know where to begin. Maybe you've noticed physical signs of burnout—exhaustion, tension, trouble sleeping, or constant stress—but pausing to feel what’s going on inside your body feels foreign. You want to listen to your inner wisdom, but it’s like there’s always something else to do, or you’re not sure how to apply what you know to your own life.
You might even feel guilty for wanting more—more connection, more balance, or more time for yourself—because you’re used to doing it all and putting other’s needs first. The constant pressure to keep up with everything weighs you down, and at times, it’s hard to truly feel your emotions, especially when it feels like you’re too busy to slow down and listen to them.
If you’re ready to slow down, connect with your body and your feelings, and create space for yourself in a way that feels meaningful, I’m here to help. Together, we’ll work to uncover the deeper layers, explore what’s keeping you stuck, and find ways to help you reconnect with your inner wisdom. It’s time to take a step back from doing it all and focus on nurturing yourself.
I help individuals with: anxiety, burnout/stress, motherhood, pregnancy loss, life transitions and entrepreneurship.

I’m here to help you reconnect with your emotions, create inner harmony, and break free from the patterns that have left you feeling burned out and overwhelmed. Together, we’ll explore the emotions that may feel hard to access—whether it’s due to constant busyness, high expectations, or the weight of caretaking responsibilities. You’ve been through a lot, and it’s taken a toll, but you’re ready for more—more clarity, more peace, and a deeper connection to your emotions and body.
I take a mind-body approach, meaning we’ll not only explore your thoughts and feelings but also how those experiences show up in your body. The sensations that show up in our bodies are often clues to deeper emotions or past experiences, and together we’ll unpack what’s going on beneath the surface. I’ll guide you in creating space for your feelings, not just understanding them intellectually but truly feeling and processing them, guiding you to move forward with curiosity and self-compassion.
With a trauma-informed and individualized approach, there’s no one-size-fits-all method here. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you—whether we’re doing inner child work to heal old wounds or using mindfulness and body-based practices to help you feel more connected and grounded. Together, we’ll work on breaking free from burnout cycles by helping you recognize where you’re overextending yourself and finding ways to bring balance back into your life. My goal is to support your healing, prevent future burnout, and create lasting changes that honour both your ambition and your need for rest.
Through this process, I’ll help you gain a deeper understanding of your emotional patterns, learn to connect with your inner wisdom, and discover how to navigate life with more ease and self-compassion. We’ll explore the heaviness, but also work toward what brings you joy, peace, and alignment in your relationships and daily life.
Therapies I use in my work: Internal Family Systems (parts work), Hakomi Therapy, Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Mindfulness.

With a compassionate ear, I’m here to deeply listen to your story. My style is soft-spoken and calm, meeting you in both the depths of your struggles and celebrating your triumphs. I believe in gently challenging you from a place of compassion when needed, while always striving to connect on a deeply human level. In our sessions, I want you to feel at ease—kick off your shoes, make a cup of tea, and relax. It’s not about me sitting back and only asking, 'How does that make you feel?' (though that question will come up!). I’ll be actively engaged, offering feedback, guiding when necessary, and providing perspectives you may not have considered. Other times, I’ll follow your lead, allowing you to steer us toward what’s most important to you. I understand the vulnerability that comes with being in therapy, and you won’t be alone in this journey—I’ll be right there with you.
As the founder of Risewell Psychology, my journey into this field was deeply personal. My own experiences with loss, pain, and healing sparked a desire to create a safe, compassionate space for others to find their own paths to wellness. I consider it a profound privilege to witness my clients' stories and hold their experiences with sacred tenderness.
Outside of sessions, you’ll often find me doing something around the practice (I’m still working on finding that sweet spot between ambition and rest!). For the past decade, I’ve been teaching spin classes because they make me feel alive and energized. I’m married to my best friend, and we have twin boys together, who definitely keep me on my toes. My ideal morning starts with a hot coffee, a walk in the crisp Calgary air, and my loyal pup, Rylee, by my side.

Hello! I’m Risewell Psychology’s Administrative Assistant. My focus is providing ongoing, kindhearted support to Risewell’s clients and team.
With degrees in History, English, and Education, I have over 10 years of experience in administration, adult education, and project management. By nature, I’m a creative soul, a lifelong learner, a natural empath, and a bit of a perfectionist. My path to becoming an administrative assistant began when I found joy in embracing myself, specifically, my love of learning new things, keeping track of the details, and crossing items off to-do lists.
When I’m not working in my office, you’ll find me with my husband on our 8-acre homestead, where we garden and raise livestock. I relax by expressing myself through art, including weaving on my floor loom, sewing, and questing to bake the perfect gluten-free bread. In the evenings, you’ll find me cuddled under a quilt with a good book and a hot cup of tea.

Book a Complimentary consultation
Many feel nervous about starting something new like therapy, and that’s totally normal. We understand this can be a vulnerable and courageous decision, so we offer a complimentary consultation to answer any questions and give you a chance to meet us before committing to a session. We want to remove the pressure of the first session and this is a great way for you to determine if we are the right fit for each other and your specific wellness journey.
